  • How do I schedule a job?
    Submit a request through my contact form or email me directly. I’ll follow up to discuss the project, provide an estimate (if applicable), and get you on the calendar.
  • Are you licensed and insured?
    Yes — I’m a licensed Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor and carry general liability insurance.
  • Do you work with landlords or property managers?
    Yes — I offer prompt, reliable service for rental properties and can coordinate work directly with tenants if needed.
  • What towns do you serve?
    I primarily work in Belchertown, Amherst, Pelham, Granby, Hadley, South Hadley, Ware, and Palmer. If you’re nearby, feel free to reach out — I may still be able to help.
  • What types of plumbing and electrical work do you do?
    I handle light plumbing and electrical tasks, like replacing faucets, electrical fixtures, outlets, and minor repairs — all within the scope of my contractor’s license.
  • Do you handle emergency repairs?
    I don’t offer 24/7 emergency service, but I can often schedule urgent repairs within 1–2 business days.
  • Do you work weekends?
    I primarily schedule jobs Monday through Friday, but weekend work may be available upon special request depending on the project.
  • Can I send photos with my request?
    Yes — it’s encouraged! You can email them to kai@diligenthandyman-ma.com or text them to (413) 323-0532. Photos help me provide more accurate estimates and prepare ahead of time.
  • Do you charge a trip fee?
    Yes — my trip fee is $125. It covers the first hour of labor and travel. After that, additional time is billed hourly.
  • Do you offer free estimates?
    Yes — estimates are always free. For smaller jobs, I usually work hourly and can provide a rough estimate remotely. For larger or more complex projects, I’ll come out in person to inspect the work and write up an official estimate.
